Metallica issue studio video showing the making of Now That “We’re Dead” from their new album Hardwired… To Self-Destruct
The band have released a video showing Metallica writing and recording new song Now That We’re Dead.
It is the newest in a series of footage Metallica have made available to give a glimpse at the making of their 10th album Hardwired… To Self-Destruct, which was released last month.
Now That We’re Dead initially had the working title Tin Shot. Within the behind-the-scenes video, James Hetfield and bassist Robert Trujillo may be seen discussing the main riff and swapping concepts on how they may make it heavier.
Lars Ulrich may also been seen encouraging James Hetfield to cut loose with his vocal performance. Ulrich says: “It feels like, is there some place that is slightly more intense, vocally, than where we’re right now. What happens if you take the lid off?”
