Metallica have released a video showing them perform Atlas, Rise!.
The track originally featured on their long-awaited 10th studio album Hardwired… To Self-Destruct.
The live performance video was filmed at the AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong in January this yr – a part of the band’s tour of the Far East. It also marked the first time the band have performed a show within the territory.
Metallica said: “We told you how excited we’re to hit the ground running in 2017 with tour dates in Asia and we are back today with a Metallica first – a show in Hong Kong.
“Thirty-five years and still beyond psyched to go to new frontiers, so this promises to be a very special night as we hit the stage at the AsiaWorld-Expo.”
The band unveiled Atlas, Rise! last Halloween – and made spooky Hardwired masks available prior to its release, which gave followers the chance to listen to the song earlier than it officially launched.
The band are presently gearing up for a run of South American dates. They will then head out on the road across North America from May.
