As we have learned over the past yr, there is no challenge that Rob Scallon isn’t afraid to try. The musician has become a social media sensation for his unique renditions of metal tracks and for his latest clip, he’s recorded Metallica‘s “Enter Sandman” backwards.
However saying he recorded the song backwards is perhaps simplifying issues a bit. Scallon actually played and sang the song backwards, then reversed the video so that he covers the whole song forwards. It definitely makes for a more sinister-sounding song. As Scallon says, “It’s definitely the most confusing thing I have done thus far.” And for those wanting to see the video just the opposite, he’s also posted a “forwards” version of the video below.Download Our App
Making the clip even more entertaining, Scallon provides some fun visuals like un-eating a pretzel, being de-silly stringed and bit by bit emerging from a pile of Styrofoam popcorn. Check out the eye-catching clip in full above.
